It must be Christmas😏
The
feast day of Saint Sturm (not to be confused with the German double act Sturm
und Drang).
We’ve
got the tree, parcels for posting are wrapped and ready and three cards have
been written and posted.
After
doing my messages today I shall sit down and write the Round Robin – but email
and facebook folk will have to print it off for yourselves sometime around
Boxing Day!

It's
amazing how quickly you get used to things. I've invested in some visors for
if/when we can do knit&natter again. I decided to wear one to go shopping
today. I've never felt as naked in my life - and I've done two North East
Skinny Dips. It's back to the masks for me.
Ms Elplates I agree. I
don’t think a visor is any way as effective as a mask.
Ms Doozer They are
quite ineffective. I would stick to the mask. A transparent one if your friends
lipread.
Woolerwoman It is
amazing how we adapt!
Birdfoodlady I still hate
masks but am meticulous about wearing one in shops etc.
So I hardly ever go out shopping now. I do all my socialising on dog walks!

We're in
the office and I'm looking through the Facebook archives for the next couple of
blogs.
I'm
amused by and read out one I'm going to use soon.
"What
date is that?" says Fester.
"The
eighteenth."
"When's
that?" he asks then answers himself with "Oh it's Sunday ... blimey I
know what date it is!"
"You
been eating fish again?"
"Yes, I had fish-fingers for lunch."
