finally finished the 2012 round robin

It was very
hard as there has been so much bad news this year and so little good - I shall
put it up as a note on Facebook so you can see. It's going out 2nd class so maybe will arrive
before 12th night.
The
letter and cards are writ and Fester’s gifts got.
This
morning to Woodlawn’s Nativity to do a raffle and teas and coffees – and anyone
who whines “Haven’t you got any juice for the kids?” will be told we’re not
Lyon’s Corner House.
This
afternoon to get him to add his scrawl to his friends cards.

Despite
phonecalls from the cousin and both sisters I actually got some things done
yesterday.
We made
the cake (apparently it's good for couples to do things together).
I
harvested the swedes (poor crop not doing them again) and did a bit of sorting
in the garden.
And I
finally finished the dolly's outfit. The third attempt at leggings finally fit
and then there was the fiddly finishing off bits: sewing up; crochet; edgings;
finding matching buttons of the right size and colour and sewing them on.
So today
it will be the Food Bank to deliver the dolly (and some wonderfully dressed
Barbies from Mrs Quilt), Tesco to seek a Xmas jumper for Ferretfingers, then
down the coast to deliver a couple of things.
I think I deserve to see the sea.
Then
there's the ironing....
