Have
repotted my cacti, removing and potting up all the baby cacti that were growing
around them, I now have seven pots of baby cacti free to good home.
They thrive on neglect, don't mind about not
being hot or in too much/too little sun and when they flower you'll realise why
my office companion Gary (198?) used to call them the Mexican-erection-plant.
Deep
joy.
Just
rediscovered/remembered that S4C covers Le Tour De France live.
Last year I enjoyed their commentary much
more than ITV4 or Eurosport.
And they
have a pretty girl interviewer that the cyclists open up to much more than the
men.
Mind you she does home in more on
Welsh cyclists (Geraint Thomas and Luke Rowe) than the others.
And
I now know that the Welsh for Belgium is Gwlad-y-Belg.*

Just
wished one of the aged Kingsmen a happy birthday on Fester's behalf and had
this conversation.
"He's
the same age as you."
"Oh
I thought he was younger."
"Well,
in that yours was on the 6th June and his is today.”
"Oh!
I'd forgotten I'd had my birthday."
As my
Granma used to say "Old age comes not alone" ....

*Also
that the Welsh equivalent for ‘like a bat out of hell’ is ‘fel cath ar dรขn’ –
‘like a cat on fire’.
