I've
blogged a little late today as I'd promised to take the boys to the Quayside
market so they might buy something for their father's birthday tomorrow.
And
as soon as I've finished this I'm off downstairs to do the first
cake/fruit/jelly layer of the trifle.
It will be ginger-cake, mandarin segments
and orange jelly. Then creme caramel (I can't find blancmange in Sainsbury,
Tesco or Lidl) will be put on tomorrow morning and butterscotch whip/angel-delight
and hundreds&thousands immediately before serving.
Not for the lactose intolerant.
And I shall be doing much the same today
