Clock Radio Alarm

There’s been nothing much of any use in the Facebook Archives recently, and I haven't had the hwyl to write anything from scratch, so I’m using one for tomorrow a day early…

One of the things I forgot to do before going away on the Coven weekend was turn off the clock radio alarm.

When I got home I noticed the clock radio had been pushed to the back of the bedside table and a figure eight shape had been cleared in the dust on its face.

"I forgot to turn the alarm off before I went away."

"I know!" said with some feeling.

"So you've learnt how to turn it off?"

"No!  I just kept poking at the buttons until it stopped."

The man with three (count them) degrees has spoken.

Paganess  I don't do this often but, I have 3 degrees too though not a doctorate!  

 My abilities in many things are on a level, or below those of the man who does.

Bentonbag  But I doubt that in your case it's deliberately useful uselessness.

Miss Doozer  Presumably it has a plug?  Batteries?  (I also have three degrees)

Bentonbag  No, it runs off the mains, and the socket and off-switch is inaccessible behind the bed.  I couldn't have planned it better if I'd tried.
