Knitting Yarn

From Facebook Archives, this was a lockdown project.

Latest short sleeved V neck creation.
If you are ever tempted to do a V neck with raglan sleeves and diamond motifs, take my advice, DON'T.
It was a real pain getting both sides to match once you're up past the armpits.
Especially when you're using oddments to make up for the fact you don't think you've got quite enough yarn to do the whole lot.
Hair washed this morning and left to hang dry uncombed, hence the backwards through hedge look.
Tylebach  Really lovely xxx
Ms Exlibris  That's lovely Ben x
Mrs Bun  Wow LOVE ALL OF YOUR KNITS Bentonbag xxx I'm soooooo jealous xxx
Cousin Daisy  Simply beautiful
Bess Cavalier  I like that.  I'm supposed to be knitting hats for Innocent smoothie bottles for Age UK.  Thought it would be a good way to use up scraps but I've only done one complete one and one waiting to be sewn up.  I just don't seem to be able to get going with anything much at the moment.
Bentonbag  I know what you mean. I'm trying to work out whether my next project should be:
knitting herring for a Fish Quay thing (Mrs Quilt sent me the info);
doing a baby thing for a friend's expected grandchild;
doing myself a big sloppy joe jumper for next winter on circular needles to use us some of the yarn stash.
Mrs Quilt  Use up the stash Ben - use up the stash - do you want some of mine?
Bentonbag  NOOOOOOOOOO Thank you I've plenty to be going on with what with what's under the telly, under the bed, on top of the wardrobe and in the loft.
Ms Exlibris  Oooo, I love a good sloppy joe, that would get my vote.
Mrs Quilt  Changed my mind - do the Herring, that'll make a hole in your silver yarn.  It is for an Exhibition on The Fisher Lasses, that moved around the ports gutting herring, at The Old Low Light.
Bentonbag  I think the Herring is probably going to be next - as a palette cleanser - something entirely different and new.  I hope they don't mind if it's stuffed with old tights and scraps left over from mask making.
Jay Mural  Knit the herring! We will need pictures.
Drummerman  Are you thinking of taking up golf?
Mrs Leftfoot  We could try that one time.  Then again, maybe not.  Yawn.
Bentonbag  Gosforth Park Golf club used to do a bucket of balls thing where you could just thwack them as far as you like.  We could do that.  You never know though, we might enjoy ruining a good walk.  But I suspect we'd really annoy the golfers (which makes it all the more tempting).  On the other hand it could be a bit costly
Mrs Leftfoot  There seemed to be a consensus here that it might be too dangerous and risky.  For you.  With me hitting balls around.
