I’ve
saved over £200 by changing to Saga from Kwikfit car insurance
It
is persisting down here now!!!
Henlady and here, the hens are sitting in the hall watching the
rain outside. They don't like getting
wet!
Bentonbag Hence my mother's
expression "as mad as a wet hen".
Ernextdoor Oh I think they sound very sane sitting
in the hall watching from the inside - sounds a clever brood to me xx
Bentonbag She was using mad in the sense of angry
rather than insane - I don't know why "as angry as a wet hen" doesn't
work, but somehow it doesn't sound right
Ernextdoor Never heard of that saying before but
after a brief google search came up with various including the gorgeous Richard
E Grant or REG's website

Apparently
there is an app called What3Words which can be used to locate any 3metre square
in the world. I’d be most amused to find
out where, if anywhere, these three word blog titles might land. Not interested enough, obviously, to actually
download the app.
But dear readers are
most welcome to elucidate me in the comments box.
