said to Thunderthighs
"Go and strip your brother's bed so I can wash the
bedlinen - I want the sheet, pillowcases and duvet cover."
Later I pick up the bundle of bedlinen on the
floor and shove it in the washer with a couple of whites and undies and put in
on a 60o economy wash.
At
line hanging time I think
"Isn't it amazing how much stuff gets itself
into a duvet cover in the washer".
Shake it out and out falls -
a summer weight duvet!
It's hanging on the line now - goodness knows
whether it will dry before the next monsoon ...

forgot to say " and take the duvet out of the cover" - you should
know your sons by now!
