Familiar Face And Accent

From Facebook Archives

Did any other Llandeilo/Tregib people see Britain's Lost Masterpieces on BBC4 last night?
Half way through a Prof William Jones pops up talking about the history of Cardiff.
I was in a cottage on the Cragside estate near Rothbury in Northumberland with Pearl and other female friends.
We didn’t have the telly on much (talking preferred) but last night we did watch BBC Four Britain’s Lost Masterpieces.
I saw a familiar face and said “I’m sure I went to school with him!”
Got home and was half way through telling Fester when he came out with
“Oh yes, I remember that bloke.  I remember thinking ‘my goodness that’s a heck of a Carmarthenshire accent, I’ve heard a lot of that recently...’”
(we went home at half term)
So I googled him.
There can’t have been two William Jones from Llandeilo that looked so similar.
Now I know how people felt when they saw me on  The Weakest Link.
