Dressing Up

On Monday Woodlawn students can go in as a pop star from any of the decades 1950s 'til now. With his sideburns Thunderthighs would make an excellent NoddyHolder.  Any one know where we might borrow a suitably sturdy top hat for the day?
Bess Cavalier  No, but I think Noddy Holder also used to wear an oversized flat cap - it might be another option.
Bentonbag  Good thinking - flat caps we have - will direct him towards googleimages
Mrs Treasurer  Really struggling with this one Ben!  Finally decided on Benny from Abba (as we have a white top gear suit!!).  I may have to put a note in my son's bag just to let them know who he is!
Monday morning
Bentonbag  Well, we've dug out a mustard coloured felt hat I actually wore in the early 70s (to church), yellow check shirt of Fester's and a different yellow check waistcoat I had in the wardrobe just in case.  I've told him not to wear the hat on the Metro or people will think he's strange so he has to carry it in a bag to school.  Sadly we have no check trousers.
Monday evening
Bentonbag  His form teacher thought he'd gone as one of the Wurzels - which didn't bother him one bit.  "I wore the hat on the Metro home and no one looked at me funny" he said when he got in - kleine sweinhunt!
