Strange.

Preparing my blog yesterday I came across this from last year

Very pleasant evening at the People's Theatre with Pearl and friends .....

And this morning we were roused by a scream because the water pressure had fallen and so it was cold.

Just what you need first thing; to get up and fiddle with the taps on the undercarriage of the boiler, peering blearily at the little green and red clock-face thingy to get it up to 2 (two what I've no idea).

Excluding the scream (I noticed the radiator in the loo was cold) 

I could write exactly the same this morning.

Do you think the boiler doesn't like me going out?

Today's blog will appear this afternoon as something (cat?) had turned the volume on the clock radio down so we heard nothing went it went off.

"Have you turned the alarm off?" says he at 07.48.

And it's too cold to go out without breakfast this morning.

Labourlad  Woke to no hot water or heating today.  Off to Cairngorms tomorrow perhaps it will be warmer

Miss Doozer  Your boiler is judgemental.

Mrs Quilt  I have a feeling that the "2" represents "bars", the measurement of pressure?  I'm fully expecting howls of ridicule at my ignorance!
