Just wandered into our bedroom prior to getting showered and saw a cat's tail slide under the bed.

Not Felix's pure black one, nor Teddy's ginger Northumbrian flag either, but Jessie-cat's black & tabby.

"Oi! There's a cat going under our bed and it's not even our cat!"

Jessie looks out a little sheepishly

"Out you!  You don't even live here."

She slinks out past me and slips back downstairs.

Now to find out who left the backdoor open long enough ...

Bad enough yesterday she and Felix had a half hour's antipathetical duet on the drive which you could hear all over the street.

I have since learnt that Jesse is a tomcat.
