I've
just been reminded of something!
During
the spring and summer of 1979 I worked as a kitchen assistant in PGL Adventure
Holidays canoe centre in the Ardeche (France).
Everyone working there were relatively young Brits so there was quite a
bit of silliness, in-jokes and catchphrases.
One
of the phrases used when surprised or disbelieving was
"Well
fuck a blue pig."
I
always wondered why a pig, and why a blue one.
Maybe
