What a nice day: Quayside Market, Bazoukiboy called, 

Mrs Quilt called and all of the pumpkins and most of the tomatoes planted out.

I’ve just been out in the rain and filled a 1 litre ice-cream tub with snails - over sixty of them. 

Showed it to Fester who said "You could make a good meal out of them."   

They're in the brown garden recycling bin.

Going green?  

Just ordered wind-up doorbell and clockwork watch off Amazon. 

Miss Fiddle  I remember Mum & Dad had the original doorbell on the back door of their 1935 house - you twisted it and it rang as it sprang back (a bit like a bicycle bell).  It probably went to the skip when the house was extended and the back door moved & replaced...

Bentonbag – Miss Fiddle  The sidebar says you've made a comment "I remember Mum & Dad had the o..." but nothing more there - and nothing at all in here! Is Fb playing the tease?

Hoorah - you've appeared!

We had one on the back door at home (built 1926).  I wonder if the new owners kept it when they refurbished the house?  Hope so but doubt it.
