Got the tree from Chopwell Woods this morning, now the nagging starts ...
Goddaughter  and the cat like decorations start appearing?

I don't want to worry anyone but Fester just informed me it's snowing

Today.
Mum's birthday (RIP).
Thunderthighs’ Annual Review; all going well he's staying in Woodlawn for 6th form.
We got the tree from Hutchinson's Greengrocers up the road £15:  cheaper than Chopwell and Fester carried it home so no driving.

Happy Feast of St Nicholas.
Nobody blown or washed away by storm Desmond I hope.
The front garden across the road has gained an interesting yellow laundry basket which I'm sure wasn't a feature yesterday.
Sandy  Not blown away but the village was cut off.  Trees down on one road flooding on 'tother.  One of the Neighbours has crashed into a fallen tree.  She's ok, car's a mess.

Today.
Take Ferretfingers to have his teeth scraped then to the Day Centre.
Go to LDNE stall at Quorum Christmas market.
Fetch Ferretfingers and get bread at the Rising Sun on the way home.

Busy at LDNE today and have plans for tomorrow so there may be no cards written until Sunday.
Apart from that I still haven't finished the knitivity set ...
Mrs Quilt  I might have a pattern for a very simple donkey of a comparable size.
Would it help if I tried it?  It could lurk in the shadows.  Of course there is always the option that the shepherds tethered it out of sight entirely!
Bentonbag  It's knit.  Needs stuffing and finishing off.  As does Joseph.  Lamb needs legs and face.  I'm not doing an angel.  Not sure whether to do baby Jesus and manger or have Mary holding him.  I've been tempted by a pattern for a camel.
🐪🐂 🐑
The knitivity set is still a work in progress.  I have resisted a camel.  Mrs Quilt has knit me an excellent ox and a baby Jesus that doesn’t look like a maggot.  The angel is almost complete needing hair and a halo.  It, the shepherds, Mary and Jesus all need finishing off with faces and, where applicable, beards.
