I’ve just got 100 sponge puddings from Asda for Woodlawn Xmas Pudding Fun Run (Boxing Day 10.30 Whitley Bay Sea Front if you're interested) and delivered them to school and then taken posters into every shop and pub in Monkseaton.  Now tired, hungry and thirsty and I have to pot up the next batch of apple jelly (which has set in the pan) and make tonight's soup.

I’m feeling particularly smug having purchased and installed a new printer ALL ON MY OWN.  Mind you I shall soon have to instruct Fester how to use it ...

Fester has finally succumbed and allowed me to trim his ear hairs with a pair of nail scissors.

My offer to pluck them was, as usual, rebuffed.

Jay Mural  My husband goes to a Turkish barbers, they singe his. I suppose that would be a step too far for Fester?
