Duvet Dissent

When I go up to bed I am usually joined, a little later, by Teddy the ginger pschycocat.

Felix the aged black and white cat also joins us for part of the night, or early morning.

Regular readers may remember that for the past week or so I have been using a separate single duvet in the martial bed.

As we were taking coffee after tea yesterday evening, whilst watching Pointless, Felix came and sat on my lap, and Teddy sat close by on the edge of the coffee table.

“Have you noticed” I commented 

“he hasn’t been attacking Felix as much as he used to?”

“Getting older” replied Fester.

“Yeah.  Quite often when I come up to bed he’s on the chaise longue and Felix is on the pouffé.  In fact, if he doesn’t come tappy lappy after me into the kitchen for supper when I come up to bed, he stays down here on the chaise longue and I don’t see anything of him until morning.”

“He’s probably railing against the use of two duvets.”
