"I
can remember a game of cricket being snowed off at Buxton on June the
first."

the same year that I visited Beamish Museum at the end of May in the snow

Feel free to share.
There was a frog
singing in the pond yesterday so there's hope.
Got 8xhenmanure and
seed compost from Armstrong Allotment Shop, where I bumped into DistrictNurse.
I also bumped into last week as she was
about to embark on a bike ride with Ernextdoor. Don't see someone for years then twice in a
week.
Planted parsnip,
radish and lettuce in the refurbished bed and marrows in pots on the front
windowsill. Messed about with houseplants moving orchids around as there's only
room for two on the bathroom shelf.
Today's task is to
remove the redundant telly from the back kitchen windowsill so there's room for
the two orchids currently on Ferretfingers' windowsill where they at risk
of being swept off by the curtains.
By the way - anybody want a telly?
This year so far only ffa, radish and spring onion have been planted out.
We have no seed compost so, as yet, no other
seeds have been planted either indoors or out.
Lots have been bought though…
