Pancakes Frogspawn Refuge

Fester is making pancakes and has eschewed the self-raising and the plain flour ('cause it's wholemeal) and is making them with bread flour. 

Please someone make it stop!!!

YAY We've got frogspawn in the pond 😀

Thing is nature lovers:--

Should I leave it there where it might be eaten by birds, foxes, cats, rats etc?

Or should I pop it into the rainwater tank where it will be safe, but cold, and put the tadpoles into the pond when they hatch?*

This morning, when I opened the back door, Jessiecat shot in again. 

I discovered him on the front windowsill but didn't have the heart to shoo him out 

- it being so cold and him living with a toddler.   

Also I was in a hurry to get to an LDNE board meeting and knit'n'natter.

I got home about 2pm to find him curled up in the corner of the chaise longue, virtually glued to it.

According to Fester there had been "a bit of swearing between him and Felix" but otherwise it had all been peace and calm.

He's still there.

I'm not opening a book on when he'll finally go out, or home.

* On my tour of the estate this morning I found a clump of frogspawn in frogpond#1 and the same question applies.
