Back in 2020 we planned to stay at the Fairlight Guest House in Glenridding to have a trip on the steam boat during February half term.  

However Ferretfingers broke his ankle a couple of weeks before so I had to ring and cancel.   

We eventually stayed at the Gilsland Spa Hotel and drove down Glenridding for the cruise, in August 2021.

However: ever since he's been nagging about going to the Fairlight Guest House in Glenridding.   

For someone with a communication disorder he hasn't half got nagging sorted.   

I've finally given in and this evening managed to book a night at the ****ing Fairlight Guest House for Saturday 14th September.

We will be doing a train, bus, stopover, bus, train trip there and back.

Maybe now he'll get off my back.
