Fester has stayed in this house for thirty years and one month.   Last night the living room light bulb went.   Thunderthighs tried reaching up into the lampshade without any joy. Fetched the steps but still couldn't get the bulb out so Fester went up instead then 

"Thunderthighs fetch a new bulb" 

to me "Where do you keep them?  The cwtchdanstar?"

"Thunderthighs knows where I keep them and if you don't know, after thirty years, where they're kept I'm not telling you now."

Bentonbag  Had to get rid of that when the MOT recommendations ran to two pages.

We use the Welsh word for the cupboard under the stairs - the bulbs are not kept there.
