Got new
cheap dumbphone.
It
wouldn't recognise the sim.
Then the
old Nokia wouldn't either.
Maybe it
was the sim?
Phone O2
and Ifty tells me he can send me a new one or I can go to my nearest O2 store
where they will give me one there and then and transfer the numbers.
Off to
town (with Ernie cheques to put into Barclays)
Lad in O2
realises the sim has lost the bit that holds in it place and instructs lass to
fix it.
Lo Nokia
recognises it - but then fades to grey and starts buggering about.
So it was
the phone.
Lass puts
newly enlarged old simcard in new phone.
It works.
All my
old numbers are there (twice!?).
Has all
the functions I need, sadly misses a couple I found useful but can live
without, and none of the ones I never really wanted.
No choice
of ringtone, message alert or alarm, but I can live with that.
Does have
a camera and recorder but would need a memory card to support them.
