As there's a retail opportunity day coming up I've started dropping subtle hints. 

Resting after tea I said "Not only have I run low on 

Tia Maria, I've absolutely no sherry ... Mind you I also like flowers ... although they'll be awfully expensive this weekend..."

"What?" says Fester "Daffs!?"

Thunderthighs has come into the office with a 

Mrs Brown’s Boys card and a bottle of sherry.

Ferretfingers with a lovely card and a large box of 

Milk Tray.

Followed by Fester with a bottle of TiaMaria and 

"have a bottle of hint."
