Thunderthighs'
review this afternoon: is it worth digging the car out or will they close
school early like yesterday?

Got to Asda, got 100 sponge puddings, got home,
got all snow off car, tried to reverse back into road to go to Thunderthighs'
review - got stuck.
Had to get Fester
and Mrs Childminder (neighbour) with shovels to dig/push/provide grip to get
out. Good review. Got home. Car now has an inch of snow on top of it again

I have just put my
car on the drive for the first time all week which seemed like a good idea at
the top of the street but wasn't looking so good by the time I got to the
bottom - not sure I'll be able to get up again in the morning! Our snow has stopped and everywhere is a sheet
of ice.
Mercy Kitchen Why do you need 100
sponge puddings!? lol
Bentonbag Woodlawn Xmas
Pudding Fun Run on Boxing Day - all finishers get a Xmas pudding but, as the
ingredients list includes alcohol, the head insists that we have a supply of
sponge puddings for juniors just in case the local authority or media accuse
the school of giving alcohol to minors.
I kid you not.
She's a sensible woman (honest) and just
doesn't want to risk the hassle of some zelot/idiot making trouble.
And yes it is elfin safety gone mad because
anyone with any sense knows the tiny amount of alcohol that went in the mix
evaporated during cooking.
