My Last Pudding Run

I didn’t realise it but this was the last time I would pack goody bags for the Xmas Pudding Fun Run. My sons had both left Woodlawn a few years before but other PTA members kept dragging me back in.
It took a global pandemic to finally stop us, and the Run has returned organised by other able bodies.

Thank you to the magnificent team from North Shields Polytechnic Athletics Club and Woodlawn mums who packed 1500 Start Fitness bags with puddings and certificates in an hour and a half.
The team of pudding packers were brilliantly efficient.
I spent a lot of time getting puddings etc out of the cupboard, and generally clearing and reorganising the cr*p in the cupboard to make space for the bags, so didn’t do much packing myself..
All the bags are now in the PTA cupboard and there’s danger of an avalanche when getting them out, because it took my full weight against the door to get it shut.
I’ve taken 15 Pudding Run posters to North Shields Central Library for distribution to all the borough’s branch libraries.
And dropped one off in Alan Campbell MP's office but his office manager says she’s not putting it up until Monday.
