Bit of a
dashy about day yesterday.
To Whitley Bay to collect pots etc from Mrs Quilt's
clear out, then to Wallsend to drop them off at LDNE's office for the
Gentlemen's Gardening Group.
Home for lunch then down to Sainsbury's for Ferretfingers'
tv magazines, a new pair of trainers for Thunderthighs (spend £10 in Tu and get
5p a litre off petrol) and bits and bobs.
Got tired and sticky and my hair
desperately needed washing so I decided to have an early evening bath.
"Aventgarde" says himself.
I was just relaxing when in he comes with
my mobile phone.
The person calling instructed him to take it out again as I
could call back later.
With which I agreed, you have no way to jot down
information in the bath and I once had to put a handset in the airing cupboard
(in the days of a hot tank) after using it with freshly washed hair.
PJ* I
remember had a nack of phoning me when I was taking a morning bath.
One reason,
best beloveds, I shall never have a video-calling smartphone.
Thunderthighs
is off to Hextol, Fester to the Mining Institute/town and once I dropped Ferretfingers
off at the day-centre I shall have the house and the mountain of dishes all to
myself.
Oh happy
day!
Kentishlady This reminds
me that I need to post a request for fruit bushes/trees!
Bentonbag Do you need
blackcurrents? I have a couple I can
easily dig up.
Kentishlady Yes please! It's
for the very overgrown bank at the community plot so no rush. We have to clear it still.
