I shall be up and out early tomorrow to see the Northern Cross pilgrims crossing the sands to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne.

I shall also be up and out early on Saturday to help at a Breakfast With The Easter Bunny event at LD:North East.

And I shall be helping at a Hippitty Hoppitty event at Springfield Community Centre on Easter Sunday afternoon.

So there may be no more Tales of Chateau Midden until Monday at the earliest.

It's been a busy weekend with some lovely moments.

I think the highlight was yesterday afternoon's Springfield Community Centre's Hippitty Hoppitty where I'd volunteered to help on the children's craft stall.

"We've got an Easter Bunny outfit but nobody wants to do it."

"I have experience of this sort of thing ... I used to be TyneBridge's dragon ... if the suit fits..."
