As I said yesterday …

posts are thin on the ground during school holidays due to us going away and me
not wanting to be bothered with laptops and wifi codes. So the next couple of posts may not be on
their appropriate date.
Also
we’re away for a very long weekend so there’s little chance of a blog next
week.

The
f***ing car is f***ing broken yet af***inggain.

Fortunately AA membership includes courtesy
car for breakdowns.
But if it's not
fixed by Friday night we will have to hire car until after Easter to get down to
Wales for Dad’s funeral and long planned holiday.

And
the good news is, having paid all the people who wanted their money back for
the cancelled Woodlawn Xmas Pudding Fun Run, we have not made a loss!
There were loads of people who emailed saying “it's
only six quid (or whatever) it's not worth the hassle of writing out a cheque,
take it as a donation.”
There
was snow and ice on the day, and then we couldn't get an alternative date
sorted out with the Poly Runners (and we really did try)
As
is typical the one person, out of hundreds of runners, who didn’t give us
sufficient contact information complained that we hadn’t contacted him to offer
a refund.
