Thunderthighs is having a very emotional time remembering Tiddles and Dominic.

I will be spending the day washing, ironing and sorting things out prior to going to Glasgow for the weekend (Thunderthighs wants to go on the Clockwork Orange). 

And if Fester asks once more whether I've sorted Bazoukiboy out for the cats I won't be responsible for my actions.

Have, this week, put the wind up the Headteacher of Woodlawn and the head of the Additional Educational Needs Faculty at Norham College -

Tiddles

 and we weren't really trying.

Back safely from our trip to Chesterfield for the brother-in-law’s funeral.   

Thunderthighs came with and behaved and looked very well.   Lots of complimentary comments on how smart and upstanding he looked.   And he did a Bramah of navigating us to the crematorium as the A61 that way was blocked (a jumper), and then back over to the golf club; followed by another car equally unfamiliar with the route.

It was lovely to meet Middlesister's oldest nursing friends and Thunderthighs thoroughly enjoyed listening to the stories of the old days, and of course the family stories of Blodfa and when "we" were in the RAF.

It's very strange seeing my sisters turning into old ladies, so reminiscent of, yet so different to, our Granma and her cousins and friends who were around when I was little.

I shall be going back down to spend some time with Middlesister from next Thursday to the following Monday.  

Then she will have to start finding and living her new life as a widow.
