I had a zoom meeting this afternoon and there were some things I had to say to someone about their attitude and behaviour.

The response was "I'm sorry you feel that way "

Before the person could go any further I heard myself saying "I don't care how you feel about how I feel, that is not the point."

We'll have to see whether the message has got through.

Mercy Dunn  I really want to know what was said.

Bentonbag  It was resolved by the end of the meeting, we shall see how things go.

I've suddenly remembered something Uncle Laurie (the police officer) said to me when I came up for interview at Newcastle: 

"It's a case of mind over matter, if you don't mind they don't matter."

I think it was the only piece of advice he gave me.

That and to use the Tyne Tunnel and A19 rather than the A1 through Gateshead, County Durham and North Yorkshire.

Bentonbag  It's where you can have meetings online and see each other.  A bit like Skype on steroids.  Like facetime but for a group of people.
