Not so Bashful

The hall Tyne Bridge Morris practice in is also used by Heaton Community Centre’s playgroup (amongst other people).  So there is soft play, equipment and various large toys around the room.

Last night we noticed a row of large cuddly toy type dolls sitting on one of the radiator covers.  They looked vaguely familiar, and on closer inspection turned out to be the Seven Dwarfs.

The Drummerman, who is perhaps the most numerate of us, spotted it first.

“But there’s only six of them” says he.

We had another look.

There was Doc, Dopey, Sleepy, Grumpy, Sneezy, Happy – but no Bashful.

“Well that’s appropriate” says the Banjoman’s Wife “He’s shy, he’ll be hiding somewhere.”

“But Snow White’s missing as well” said the Drummerman significantly “maybe he’s not so Bashful after all.”

I know …
We should all get out more .
