There are
always arguments about when exactly the Christmas decorations should come
down. On these years we did it on the
5th
January, the day before Epiphany.

Thunderthighs
is undressing the tree - I wonder if we shall get it out into the garden
tonight

The last
Christmas candles have been lit and burnt or blown out, and the wax saved to
make more for next year*.
The ornaments
are going back on the mantlepiece after their holiday on top of the corner
cupboard, and the tree is out.
Christmas
tree down and decorations put away, cards down. Only the holly to take down tomorrow and burn
for
12th Night.

The
shopping is done, dishes washed and put away, cards, tinsel and decorations are
down, the tree is outside and most of the needles etc hoovered up. Didn't take too long with the boys helping and
with Mummy cracking the whip all the while.

Christmas
is (mostly) back in its box.
The cards are down, the tree is out and Thunderghighs has HOOVERED up
the needles.
Miss
Doozer Good lad
Dr
E According to canon law,
decorations shouldn’t be taken down until Sunday after Epiphany. Ours are
down!!
Paganess
Ours is except the living tree, all 3' of it is waiting for us to work
up the will to carry it through the house into the garden! The things in a lot of
compost!
*We no longer make candles from the old wax, they are far too smoky.
