Kit-forming Underpants

Ferretfingers is sitting on his bed, naked from his waist to his ankles kit-forming his underpants with a seam-ripper.

He's just called out "It's broken Mum."

I haven't the heart to go and find out what.

In other news, we've been to the opticians, he behaved impeccably and has perfect eyesight.

Miss Doozer  As long as nothing is bleeding...

Bentonbag  He wasn't wearing them at the time.  

When I eventually went in (to call him for tea) 

I discovered he'd broken the seam-ripper and was continuing the kit-forming job by hand (or finger to be more accurate).

Miss Doozer  RIP seam ripper

Bentonbag  We have another two, one well-hidden and the other not so much, but that's going to change.

Mrs Lasagne  Oh I suppose the seam ripper has now gone to seam ripper heaven !   

Now Ferretfingers.  You need those underpants on your bottom !

Bentonbag  I've already spent his cold weather payment on half a dozen new pairs from Atlas-for-men.
