Downloading Rant Ironing Fashion

OK technophiles - here's one for you
I've learnt how to download BBC podcasts onto the mp3 (Kermode & Mayo, DannyBaker, Fighting Talk)
Now I'm wondering if it's possible to download single tracks from cd's and how complicated that might be.  Bearing in mind it recently took me a whole morning to work out how to put numbers in Ferretfingers's mobile's contacts, and the computer is ancient ... although I'm currently doing this on Ferretfingers's laptop.
Strawangel  Upload your CD onto your computer...into media player....to the right of that, there should be a tracklist option. (I'm going from a very rusty memory) make a tracklist of the singular tracks that you want.....don't worry about navigating from cd to cd (already in media player) then transfer to MP3 via USB.
Strawangel You have to drag the trags into the tracklist

Just had my sister on the 'phone - nothing like a good rant to keep you cheerful on a cold afternoon.

Today I ironed Ferretfingers's sweat and t-shirts and put them near him to bring upstairs.
Then I ironed my and his father's stuff and put them on top with
"When you take your stuff up put these on big bed."
We've just come up to bed.
Ferretfingers very carefully peeled our ironing from the top of his and handed it to me before carefully carrying his stuff up to his room.

I've completed the week with a lie in, all the boys are out and I have a quiet and peaceful house to myself for the rest of the morning.
I may even have a bath.
Woolerwoman  Real achievements in a week that is notably the gloomiest of the year.
I'm fighting my inclination to hibernate and felt a real brightening of life and mood while feeding garden birds yesterday lunchtime in some warm, but short-lived, sunshine.
Bentonbag  I've no confidence that next week will be as positive or sunny ...
Dicky Brown  I had a bath two weeks ago and I didn't even need one!
Miss Fiddle  I always use smaller plates for a similar reason -my smaller portions look good on them!
FifiD  Love those dungarees on you.
Cousin Daisy  Height of fashion.
Bentonbag  I've learnt if you wait long enough it comes back around again.
