Yesterday
I persuaded Thunderthighs to take Ferretfingers and me around the Woodlawn Xmas
Pudding Fun Run Route.
It goes a lot
further South of the Spanish City than I imagined, and had a lot more and
steeper slopes.
Chapeau to all who
completed it.
As
we approached the Rendevous Cafe Thunderthighs slowed down and said
"You
did mention having a snack here" - so we did.
We also had a bag of chips when we'd
finished.
Any
ideas of a walk (3-4miles) we could do next?

The Rising Sun Country Park has many routes but the Parkrun route is the same distance as the Pudding Run distance. Plenty of parking and rather nice scones at cafe. Might be a good
one😀
Mrs
Banjoman Park at the
Lowlights car park by the beach in North Shields . Have a look at the Fiddlers
Green statue and then walk to Tynemouth on the coastal path. Then up to the Priory and off to the
Longsands, come back through Tynemouth. Free
parking as well.
Or
park at Whitley Bay crem , over to the lighthouse and then to Seaton Sluice.
Mrs
Allotment From Seaton
sluice to Blyth, stopping off for a coffee at the south beach cafe, beach one
way, dunes path the other. Excellent choice of ice-cream😃
A little further away and you could do worse than Plessy Woods,
sometimes the cafe is even open....
