It happened again. The Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists had a gathering on the MilleniumBridge today for the Giving Voice campaign.
As I stopped to find out what it was all about a young man I didn't know from Adam said "Hello Ferretfingers".
He's worked with him at Beacon Hill School.
The same thing happened during a promenade/swing/progress at a ceilidh
(I think it was in aid of the Scouts at St Dominic’s).
A young man approached me and, in a ballroom hold swing, suddenly asked
“Aren’t you Ferretfingers’ mum?”
Utterly disconcerting as Ferretfingers wasn’t even there.
Ferretfingers has just come into the office
"Mummy, I rather think it's time you went to bed"
98% of the time the verbal skills of a three year old, then he comes out with something straight from Downton!
