Defining Normality

“We have normality.  I repeat, we have normality.  Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem.” Douglas Adams,

Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy.
In early 2020 when, amongst other things, Ferretfingers broke his ankle, my blogs were intermittent and took a while to catch up with real time as I attempted to keep family and friends informed of his progress.
Then the unpleasantness came down upon us and I decided that people might like something amusing to read in their isolation, so started to mine the Facebook Archives.
With the result that nowadays they flash forward and back through time with the insouciance of
Dr Who.

Drummerman Normal service has been resumed...
Bentonbag You have a quaint understanding of the word 'normal'
Drummerman Oi speaks as oi finds...😏
Miss Doozer Perfectly normal for our road... 🙊
Bentonbag So that you may understand Drummerman:-
On Xmas Eve my vegan next door neighbour presented me with a large bowl of Sainsbury's pasta carbonara which she had bought and cooked "by accident".
The small dog at The Ponderosa across the road has never been seen to walk;
it is always carried to and from the car.
Sadly Betty at No14 has passed away so no longer climbs out onto her bay and hops across onto the porch with a small step ladder and a bucket in order to clean the bedroom windows (to be fair she stopped doing it once she turned 80).
Drummerman  How different from the home life of our own dear Queen...
