Have attacked the black mould on the bathroom ceiling and grout with bleach - house smells like a swimming pool.
Got Thunderthighs a XXL Regatta waterproof in St Oswald's Hospice Shop for £6.

condensation and really slatternly housekeeping.
The window and door is left open all day
whenever it's not actually freezing outside so there's plenty of ventilation. There's cavity wall and loft insulation, no
damp or obvious ingress of water. We've
had it for years and, like herpes, once you get it there's no real getting rid
- you just have to fight to keep it within reasonable bounds
