Some gentle ladies' reaction to his election .
Re Trump

After yoga on Thursday the ladies (most oversixty and one 84), were discussing
the unfortunate events in America, over our coffee/tea and toasted teacakes in
Martha & Mary's cafe.
One said "I know it's terrible, but I keep hoping that surely someone is
going to shoot him sometime soon."
But it occured to me that the sort of person who shoots a POTUS is a right-wing-idiot,
and sadly the right-wing-idiots are the ones most likely to have voted for him.
So the odds of him getting shot are far lower than for a liberal/Democrat/lefty
politician (eg JFK and Robert Kennedy).
This is merely an observation not a value judgement on either eventuality.
