Just returned from the charity
shops of Byker: trousers for Thunderthighs, 2 tops for me and an egg slicer
£8.74.
Fey Is this what you
get up to when Fester goes away then?

It's a sybaritic
life of unbridled hedonism
Fey All that and a
decent night's sleep... live the dream.
Mr
Mull
Gosh you go
to expensive shops.
Our charity shop on
Mull (Island Castaways) would do you 50p for children's clothing, £2 for men’s/women’s
clothing and egg slicer 50p, but perhaps yours was designer labels?

Sadly Thunderthighs
is big adult size (44w31leg). One top
was £1.50 and the other £3.25 so it averages out to much the same. And you have to pay for quality in Byker. Egg slicer was 50p though
Just back from a walk with Ferretfingers
from South Gosforth to Heaton via Jesmond Dene, Armstrong Park and Heaton Park.
Very pleasant not to encounter any
runners or joggers: they're all off doing the Great North Run.
Not many cyclists either.
Stepped to one side to allow child
cyclist to pass safely and he immediately swerved into a nettle patch.
