Cat Tales #30 On The Fence

Regular readers may remember last month’s blog
in which Matilda Cat got an inner ear infection causing her to become physically unbalanced.

At first we confined her to a large box, then the living room, then inside the house …

And today's mini-drama at Chateau Midden:-
Bentonbag allows Matilda into the garden whilst she's hanging the washing.

Hear a thud as Matilda scrambles up and over the fence into next door's locked garden.

Cat can't/won't climb back over so sits in their garden for 5 hours - being checked on at hourly intervals.

As soon as I get text from Miss Doozer next door, to say she's on her way home from work, Thunderthighs shouts from the back bedroom where he has been observing the cat.

Stupid bloody animal has somehow scrambled up onto their garage roof and is about to try and tightrope along and jump down from their other, 7ft high, fence onto the concrete drive.

All this while she still falls over every time she shakes her head.

So I rush out and manage to get hold of her while she's still on top of the fence.
