A Blustery Day

Thank you to Mrs Poet for introducing me to The Grapes, an excellent place for lunch with Ferretfingers on a wind and snow swept trip to Whitley Bay.
As well as good food there was no music.
Such a relief after every (charity) shop we'd been into had had music playing so was greeted with
"The lady will turn the music off!"
The lady in every case looking blank and doing nothing - they do a good blank do charity shop cashiers - and never turn the music off - not even for the short time we are in the shop or at the till (end of rant!).
Anyway ...
After lunch we walked down to the prom to the boiling roiling roaring sea.
We walked and got blown up the prom towards the Premier Inn, Ferretfingers chortling all the way as he loves a bit of chaos and buffetting.
There was snow but, being so cold, it was dry and blowing about.

I know the photo is of London, but I didn't take any that day.
