I've just been down to the kitchen where the husband asked
"Do you want a coffee?"
"Nah. I don't know what I want. D'you know what it's like when you don't know what you want?"
"No. I always know what I want. It's usually a shit or a haircut. At the moment it's both.*"
To elucidate:-
"Doesn't know whether he wants a shit or a haircut" is/was one of his dad's sayings now regularly used in this house when people/cats are dithering and can't make their minds up.
