When Ferretfingers and I came out of hospital after he broke his ankle back in February 2020, the occupational therapist organised a rotunda stand (or ‘sack barrow for shifting people’ in Fester terms) so we could safely move him around at home.
As
explaining how it worked was quite hard I persuaded Thunderthighs to film us
moving from the dining table to his bed in the living room, and put the video
up on Facebook.
It
produced a few comments…

Moving Ferretfingers
Niece, can you share this with your Mum. I wanted to email it to her, Middlesister and Bigbrother but the file was too big.
Mrs Lasagne One fabulous mum xxxx❤️😘
Bentonbag I'm loving that stand. If
only the freezer wasn't in the way I could get him in the kitchen to do the
dishes.
Mrs Leftfoot The daughter and I had a chuckle at this
one. Now don't forget, it's not a toy, and you will have to give it
back.
Mrs Elswitch That is
bloody brilliant!
Woolerwoman That's quite neat! Hope Ferretfingers realises he'll have to go back
to walking at some time. xxx
Mr Melodeon Great technique. Team work!
Mrs Quilt Astonishing bit of kit. I agree with Woolerwoman. Is he showing any impatience at his restricted
mobility?
Bentonbag
Only when he can't find
a serf to pass him something.
Mrs Marx Amazing. Good driving, Ben!
FifiD

Ben. That’s a brilliant gadget for Ferretfingers. Much love to you all 😘😘😘xxxxx
Dr E You’ll

Bentonbag
Daily weight training!
Mercy Kitchen Ben, you’re an absolute super hero!
Cousin Daisy Wonder Woman, a real one, the
best of best mothers xxx
Bentonbag I've worn knickers on the outside of my tights for years, but that
was mainly to keep them up.
