Spring is Sprung!

What a difference a weekend makes.

When I looked over the garden before leaving for the Coven on Friday, there were a couple of small clumps of frogspawn in the pond, the little tete-a-tete daffodils were just hopeful green spears and the forsythia a tangle of twigs.

Due to an interesting train journey home on Monday and taking Ferretfingers shopping and to the Ouseburn Farm yesterday, I haven’t had a chance to have a proper look around the garden until this morning.

The frogs have been getting jiggy over the weekend, and the bottom of the pond is now almost carpeted in frogspawn.

The little tete-a-tete daffodils have burst into flower.
And the forsythia are scattering star shaped blossoms all over the front hedge and the back fence.
