An Infestation of Cuddlies

For a while the ladies at LDNE’s Knit’n’natter group got into making simple cuddly toys.

Or rather they would knit them and we volunteers would sew up and stuff them.
There was a handy dado rail around the room we met in, which was great for sitting them on for photographs.
Things got a little silly, because nobody took them down.

Mrs Cannybody and Mrs Pattern's cats and Bentonbag's bunny made at LD:NorthEast's knit'n'natter session this morning.

Mrs Quilt  Love the expressions on their faces.

And there's more ... two cuddlies appeared at LD:NorthEast's Knit'n'natter session this morning. Mrs Pattern's bunny and Mrs Cannybody's long cat. Although I think the long cat looks more like a ferret, and I sewed it up!

If these cuddlies were a Spice Girls or Take That tribute band which cuddly would be which singer?

I'm wondering whether bunnies look better with an upsidedown T mouth or whether we should leave it at a whiffly nose. Any preference?
Miss Doozer  Nose only
Burney  The one in the middle would be Lemmy.
Miss Doozer  Dunno about TT / Spice Girls but 2nd in from the left is Bez from Happy Mondays.

And there's more again...
We've been challenged to line the whole room with cuddlies!

Actually we didn’t rise to the challenge because one of the Senior Management Team approached me and asked me to take them down.  The problem was that she has a phobia of things with long tails and they gave her such a case of the collywobbles that she couldn’t enter that room for meetings with service users or staff.

Since the start of the present unpleasantness all the cuddlies have been hiding away out of sight, in a box in the loft.  One day, maybe, there might be a craft fair or stall we could take them too.  One day …
