On a Monday Thunderthighs makes himself a packed lunch, which usually contains a banana.
This morning he asked me if there were any bananas so I looked in the fruit basket to find 2 lemons and a brown paper bag containing some fruit Fester had forgotten about, and heard myself saying
"Sorry there's only your father's plums and they're a bit old and wrinkly."
