Half Term Haitus

I was wondering why there was so little in the Facebook Archives for around now, then I realised that we used to usually go away at half term and any posts would be in the photo albums.

13 February 2016
We decided to take a trip up to Scotland so that we could have a ride on the new Borders Railwayline.
Mummy always likes to stop and have a look at the view at Carter Bar View Point.

Scotland's in there somewhere…

The boys sensibly make their way back to the car, where father had sensibly stayed.

The piper that plays for tourists was conspicuous by his absence, as were tourists.

Parked up at Tweedbank and got the train (excellent service) but what to do in Edinburgh?
Well, as the weather had driven all but one of the pipers and most of the tourists indoors, we walked up the Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle.

Next time your mother tells you you need your coat, take your coat!  His hoody hood was still damp the next morning.

Ferretfingers was warm and dry because he listens to his mother.
