Ferretfingers used to take part in various Adult Learning Alliance handicraft classes,
usually with me ‘enabling’ him.

Spring
Cabbage Arrangement or as I like to call it
"Tulips in Cabbage, one of
Heston Blumenthall's less successful recipes".
Why anyone would want to dig out the middle of a cabbage, stuff it with oasis
and stick flowers and foliage in it is beyond me.
As Dad
would have said "What a thing to do to a decent cabbage!"
Those primulas will have to be planted out in
the garden fairly soon.
