Communication Petard

I recently realised that the best way to communicate more complex things with Ferretfingers is to write things down. 

He seems to find it easier to concentrate on the message without the complication of the noise of speech. 

With notes one can almost have a conversation with him. 

I've taken to carrying a notepad in my handbag and often resort to writing things down at home.

The only thing is Ferretfingers has realised that it can work both ways. 

So now we are regularly presented with demands on post it notes from him. 

Which are quite hard to ignore seeing as he's made the effort ...

This came in very handy five years after this post when he broke his ankle and I had to explain what was happening to him in hospital.  Thankfully he actually likes having people do things to him.
